TEHRAN, Oct. 12 (MNA) – ‘Family Relations’ directed by Nasser Zamiri, has made its way to the main competition lineup of International Competition Long Documentary and Animated Film at the 62nd DOK Leipzig in Germany.

‘Family Relations’ is about Haji BABA with his children and their strange relations. All the members of the large Iranian family are against the father and the director tries to stay on top of the jungle of different statements.

DOK Leipzig is one of the leading festivals for documentary and animated film. The festival, being the first in the world to combine these two genres, is built on more than 60 years of history and tradition. The festival is a celebration of films with the highest artistic and innovative approaches to storytelling, embodying our values of peace, tolerance, human dignity and freedom of expression.

The 62nd edition of the event will be held from 28 October to 3 November 2019.
